For his entire professional career Vince Beggs has been dedicated to the advancement, management and delivery of mission for the diverse audiences of museums, non-profits and NGO’s.

He has focused on fundraising campaigns, master planning, strategic marketing, communications, operations, mission based program and exhibit development and volunteer training. Design, audio, visual and media production, are also his areas of expertise that have benefited many organizations.

The majority of his clients are based in the US but he has extensive experience in Latin America and the Middle East. Recently he completed management and sustainability assessments for the NGO’s of Jordan’s Queen Rania and at the Petra Archeological site.

Vince has also recently completed 5 years of work for the Carnegie Observatories in Pasadena, California, developing and initiating a strategic fundraising plan to build the world’s largest telescope. Currently he is consulting with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe New Mexico, fundraising for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and developing a New Media program for the Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Prior to starting IDS he held senior administrative positions with the Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Los Angeles, the American Craft Museum in New York City, the Palos Verdes Community Art Center, and the Los Angeles Children’s Museum. For these organizations he not only managed the day-to-day operations, but also initiated and established long-range strategic plans, developed mission based programming, launched marketing campaigns and developed and executed exhibit master plans.

Vince also worked as Vice President for Development at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, a consortium of 3 unique museums, Natural History, The Page – La Brea Tar Pits Museum and the Petersen Automotive Museum. During his tenure there he restructured the Development Department to better serve the diverse visitor base and maintain fiscal integrity, created and executed a Master Plan to meet the goals for funding research, education, public programs and exhibits, while assisting in the management of the endowment fund, the membership department and special events.

Vince received his BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, studied in the School of Architecture at UCLA and holds a Certificate in Museum Management from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Vince is an active member of the American Alliance of Museums, an award winning documentary filmmaker and producer of AR, VR, and Mixed Reality content.
