Elaine Heumann Gurian has two Spring 2016 international assignments. She will serve as the external reviewer at a two-day staff and scholar workshop to draft content to replace the permanent exhibition at The Jewish Museum, Berlin, which has been in place for 15 years. She has also been chosen to be on the faculty of the ICOM International Training Centre for Museum Studies (ICOM-ITC), housed at the Palace Museum in Beijing. She will deliver two of the ten day interactive training workshops for thirty middle-managers of museums from Asian Pacific region and emerging countries. Her topic will be “Current Practices in Museum Management.”
