During Spring 2020, Susie Wilkening ran qualitative panels to assess audience attitudes towards museums during the pandemic. Research included virtual content, feeling safe at a reopened museum, and financial challenges. PDFs of the Data Story Infographics are available here.
Laura Roberts and David Ellis worked with three colleagues and the New England Museum Association to pilot an approach to assessing museum impact using structured articulation of institutional purposes, intended impacts, indicators and metrics. The report is available on the NEMA website.

Paul Orselli recently completed Fulbright Specialist work in Bulgaria in partnership with the children’s science museum, Muzeiko. Paul conducted two weeks of workshops focused on exhibit development and prototyping for museum professionals in and around Sofia.

Mary Kay Ingenthron was elected vice president of the Johnson County Museum Foundation, the not-for-profit organization that supports and promotes the museum.
