Her nationally-recognized projects in authentic community engagement, innovative programming, and major gallery renovations provided leadership in transforming the museum.

Margaret Kadoyama
Margaret Kadoyama, principal of Margaret Kadoyama Consulting, specializes in action plans for involving and engaging communities, program development and assessment, and audience development plans.  She teaches Museums and Communities in the graduate department of museum studies at John F. Kennedy University. Her work results in organizations that are more accessible, inclusive, and relevant to their communities.

Beverly Sheppard
Beverly Sheppard works with museums, libraries, and other cultural institutions to strengthen their roles as essential learning resources and community anchors.  Her 30 year career in museums and various cultural institutions, including leadership of IMLS, provided her with a national view of outstanding practices in museums and libraries, as well as the challenges they face in a changing society.  She draws on this deep experience to provide a breadth of strategies for museums to become increasingly compelling, relevant, and inclusive in their educational and cultural leadership.
